Arizona Systems Management User Group

As an Information Technology Professional, you are invited to become an active member of the Arizona Systems Management User Group (AZSMUG).

The Arizona Systems Management User Group is a special interest group serving Southern Arizona. The primary focus of the group is Windows enterprise systems resource management, specifically focused on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) and Windows Operating System Deployment (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).

The group is comprised of systems management administrators of varying experience levels and those who have an interest in what ConfigMgr, MDT and related third-party products have to offer. Members of AZSMUG meet periodically to exchange ideas, discuss technical issues, resolve technical problems, discuss contemporary technologies, and generally form beneficial partnerships with others who have common interests.

Membership is free; there are no fees for becoming an active member of AZSMUG. It is time well spent as you actively participate by asking questions, share tips and offer valuable information to your peers. You'll receive a wealth of information in return.

Upcoming Meetings & Events: AZ Systems Management User Group presents: MMS 2013 Recap

We are planning on having our third meeting of 2013. This meeting will be held at the Microsoft Store in the Scottsdale Fashion Square: 7014 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 on Thursday, May 9th. The meeting will start at 3:00 PM with the welcome time at 2:30 PM-come early and socialize a bit or check out the cool stuff in the store.

As the Microsoft Management Summit 2013 just happened, the lucky folks that attended MMS 2013 this year will be sharing the highlights of their adventure. Due to the fact that there is more information at MMS than one person can cover, I thought it may be useful to have all the participants of MMS this year share their experiences and “takeaways”. This could be Microsoft Road Map related, useful technical sessions, focus groups attended and any potential content that could be shared, or just your overall impression of this year (as compared to previous years attended). I look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting and sharing the excellent information gathered at the MMS conference.

For those interested in sticking around after meeting, we will be heading to the Yard House for a bite to eat and more tech talk.
